Our own Nathan Najib, Founder and managing director of Najib Real Estate addresses the crowd at RISE2019.
Raising over $170,000, RISE2019 was a direct response to aid the families of the recent Christchurch mosque shooting.
A team of real estate leaders, both from New Zealand and Australia came together in a remarkable 48 days, in a way that has never been seen before, to provide the first ever industry wide NZ conference. Every speaker paid for their own expenses to support the conference, allowing each dollar raised to directly assist the families of the victims.
We have always wished to share and expose the Christchurch and New Zealand real estate community to a new calibre of industry leaders. These leaders, true professionals in the industry, have built their businesses on a strong platform of core values, humility, and compassion, and we have always dreamt to bring them together under one roof.
The first speaker of the day, Farid Ahmed, sadly lost his wife during the shooting. Farid spoke eloquently about compassion, forgiveness and how diversity aids to enrich this life we all are blessed with. We all have much to learn about true resilience, and we believe whole heartedly that RISE2019 was the perfect opportunity to give back to the real estate community, while supporting the families who suffered needlessly on that tragic March day.
